Open Admission Spring 2026
Admission to the nursing program is different than admission to the University of Northern Colorado; there are two separate applications required.
- Apply to the University Here. Use the code ‘ètvnursing’ to waive the application fee.
It is strongly recommended that all applicants to the ètv BSN programs meet with a pre-nursing advisor to go over the application checklist. To meet with an advisor, you must be first admitted to ètv and have a bear number. You may still apply without completing this step, but please note that if you are missing any items your application will be rejected.
The completed application to the Nursing program is due, through NursingCAS, by Friday, August 29th, 2025, at 5pm (MT).
The application goes live in NursingCAS on July 7th, 2025.
Selection Process
Many components go into our admission criteria that help us see who you are. GPA and the HESI exam give us a glimpse of how you perform academically. The Casper assessment and the Standardized Recommendation Surveys look at your professional traits. These traits include teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills. These admission criteria come together to create your “admission score”:
